Dear Diary..

*here are just some memories i still can rmb.. so with the help of some shaun photo and entries.. its my trip to cambodia =)*

MY TRIP TO CAMBODIA! 15112005-24112005 GIVE HOPE

DAY1
woke up early in the morning to go to the airport.. my family fetch me there loh, erm, feeling abit scare and really dunno wad shld i do over dere.. reach the airport and ate burger king so there so much miscommunication in the airport.. so lalala, i think everything is just fine over dere, hab some grp photo and stuff lyk tht.. so we were just too excited and anxious.. soon, mdm heng came.. as usual, her dili deli stuff, even my mum cant believe " IS SHE YOUR PRINCIPLE?" omg, i was thinking lyk lucky she didnt come along, if not it gonna be hell days.. lols.. so soon we hab to check in our stuff and go in liao.. i did cry, just cant bear to leave dem, as it's my first time.. ;) mr seah came too, he kept his promise! so kinda soon, we was on the plane, everyone comfort me not to cry. erm its sort of touched i think.. on the plane, everything just look so great, we took silk air MI622 to siem reap, mr koh is making noises too.. hahx.. cant believe he's coming, its so fun on the plane.. everyone tok lyk nobody business.. so mr koh praise me and stuff.. soon we reached makara hse.. its just so different in the pic to her hse.. isnt getting used to wad they provode me me with.. so we went to the orphanges, so fun and cute the kids over there. .especially BABY! its wad i called the boy i carry.. hahx.. start looking ard and went to the river to awatch dragon boat.. lols.. aunt sharon, our tour guide khorn wife is teaching us some kmer words.. so we enjoy it so much that we start using it to talk to our teachers.. LOLS! so we walk around and mr koh, mr ho went to tried the insect, snake stuff.. it's so darn disgusting.. but they enjoy too.. its an experience.. YEAH! so some brave gal like colleen went to try the frog, snake, cricket and it reali freak me off.. HAHA! went back to makara hse, we were all fighting to bath.. but since we are group 4, we bath the last.. the living condition is not tht worst.. we hab shower, toilet bowls.. flush and everything.. so nice.. so it wasnt that wrost.. we hab our debrift and mr koh was lyk saying we muz not say die, and the biggest challenge is ourself.. so i ewas lyk thinking over and over wad he was saying.. but anyway, the 6 of us, which reali nv say die squezze in one room and one king size bed! ME,YING,COLLEEN,RACH,QIS,SAMA hab any idea how squeeze it is? hahax.. but we all sleep rather ok bahs..;) soon, its the next day...

DAY2
yups.. the night is cold.. so everyone just freeze ok.. hahax.. wake up early and queue for the toilet, but wad i did is "LET ME USE FIRST, I VERY FAST~" so everyone see i'm so serious, they let me go first.. so in the 1 week, i think i did not reali queue for the toilet, went off to the orphanges to see wad we are all suppose to do and we just start with the playground first, we have to mix sand with the cement powder, and add some more water, its so tiring, but thanks godness, we hab the gentlemen.. they just do wad they can.. except some of them.. eat snake all the ways.. LOLS! so we spent in the orphanges for half a day of so.. and went back to have the lunch.. we have some lunch breaks.. whereby, all of us start using cards to play with each other.. lyk heart attacks,murderer,dai dee.. its just strengten our friendship after everyday, we are so happy.. but of cos noise is loud too.. HAHAX! den we went to the weaving centre, which is lyk wad my frene say funded by manjusries sec.. HAAHX! they did quiote alot.. as it isnt their first time to cambodia.. unlike us.. the teamwork betwwen group 4 and the whole team sprit is not been shown yet.. eveyone is lyk having different discussion.. so after that we went to look at some temple without getting down the bus.. AFC club s finally formed.. its just bring the member closer.. as we hab much more things to gossip about.. =)

DAY3
we were to do house keeping as a grup.. so my groupmate, everyone is so cooperative.. its just the sense of bond we have for each other i guess.. usually, guys will just freak out when they hear house keeping.. but unlike my group.. khairul, gen xian, yi xiang, wen zhen just do wad they can.. keeping the upstair clen as possible.. so we girls just went up to tidy our own room.. they are just tht great in doing such thing.. its the day of project day again.. so we just do wad we can.. and by the time, we already completed half of it.. so we went back for lunch.. we were lyk playing cards and stuff.. forget completely abt the dance thingy.. so "thanks" to josh, he complain to mr koh, and so mr koh gave us a reali gd up and down scolding.. guess he is in a bad mood.. so double up.. hahax.. but the few of us just keep quiet and were suppose to have an event for each grp.. again work as a team and we report as a whole grp to mr koh, he finally smile.. ;) went for a shopping trip in the local market.. i shop with thida, so she help me bargain and stuff lyk tht.. brought her and makara a bag each.. so happy.. we went back to the guest house after tht trip.. everyone eat and bath.. so we were having a debrift again.. now i finally know, how to treasure my playground,, tht wad i told mr koh the first thing wen we start work today.. so. PRIDE, i know how to appreciate you too..

DAY4
hmm.. everyone started to know how to appreciate what they have in singapore and miss home.. me too.. i miss home too.. so wake up early and went to orphanges.. so doing the thing which we enjoy so much, and laughter and joke can be heard everywhere.. over dere, we didnt keep track of which day is it? wad time is it? time just passed as there is joy.hmm.. so fun.. project day for half a day.. as it rained, its our group 4 doing dishes again.. i break one of it.. hahx.. so they was lyk WAD? YOU BREAK IT? and i just hee hee.. i know how to made a coffee, milo. .which also i'm proud of it.. mr koh they all laugh at me.. so its ok.. i am source of entertainment rite? lols.. so we went back to the orphanges i think, just to scape the wall and do interaction.. LOLS! so went back dere, and its just rawks lah.. the team work as one.. and wall been painted white.. surprised? the friendship we hab.. LOLS! so debrift and got our tibits.. AMAZING! cos ytd we complain to mrs lim. .hab some chatting with her.. its just let us feel better.. =)

DAY5
i didnt keep track of wad breakfast we hab everyday, unlike shaun =X so. we went back to the orphanges and start cementing again.. LOLS! the playground equipment is here once again.. so, its omg, damn rusty.. its it the best we can gave them? or waD? they do not hab an plastic ok.. cos it much too far expensive for them.. but wad we can do is by painting the rusty part and gave dem more than what we are suppose to do.. so everyone get so pissed off with everything tht cambodia have..but we just gonna do our part.. we start painting and hab some fun.. some of them interact with the kids and everyone are enjoying what they are doing.. its just a great joy, they are so easily contented.. how abt us? we are simply a useless thingy.. everything we wanted branded.. so, there some improvement in the interaction.. each and single of us managed to made some kids smile or even laugh.. we started to miss our parents.. compare to them, we are much much more luckier.. seeing the smile on their face, the feeling just rawks.. went back for lunch and we set off to akira mine museum.. they hab such a history, and culture.. its so erm, nice and i learned lots from them.. we went to this high school.. we perfrmed dance and went for a match.. we played soccer and bball against dem.. erm, we win the bball but lose the soccer.. lols.. AFC club just brighten up the mebers name.. everyone supposed to hab a nick.. i'm sick.. so we went for this beatocello concert.. OMG! i swear i wun go again.. its nice, but the performance can just made me fall asleep.. ;) soon, its late, no debrift and everyone went to sleep.. its so erm tired! LOLS!

DAY6
its the last day of project day, everyone is keen to finish everything.. look at our final products.. and of cos the up coming shopping trip as part of our reawrd.. have our breakfast and some housekeeping, til around 8am den we set off once again, to our orpahnges.. the kids are just as happy as ever to see our arrival, the get excited, and soon, the place is noisy and filled with laughter and joy again.. we get down to work, but left only some painting to complete with.. the kids like ah chan already start playing on the playground we builted for them.. wad else can the feeling be? great of cos.. just simply touched in everything.. soon, painting is finish, its time we say gdbye to each other.. only narath know we wun be coming back, the rest of dem are still smiling.. ying cant bear with her kaya, colleen miss her gal.. me? i miss baby of cos.. qis miss the kids.. we all miss the children.. but its just time to go, i didnt tel baby anything b4 i left.. i didnt tel him, i wun be coming back, i didnt gif him my last kiss.. didnt, i just went on to the bus.. i know i will cry, i know how i feel.. i bear with the tears in my eyes.. siying? she started crying on the bus.. went back to the host house.. everything is so quiet, no one sound happy for the upcoming trip.. no one snatch the food.. no one ever mention : wad are we going to do tml? me, i stay at the ground floor.. i dun wan go up.. i know ying is crying.. but bei lin get me to go up.. i went up.. i saw colleen.. i saw ying.. i start to cry too.. i look at qis.. its just so sad.. i cry again.. some of dem say no used crying.. but they didnt know how we felt.. soon, mr koh came up.. he ask me dun cry already.. he ask all of us to eat.. he reali care alot for all of us.. eat already, i cry again.. mr koh saw it again.. he sayang me, the feeling is lyk he is my father.. i miss my home.. i miss my dad and mum.. i have a family.. how abt those kids? soon, we play game again.. iforgot abt tht awhile.. but its just fun.. we play heart attack.. we leave the hse and go to the killing field.. kasturi is sick.. me? ying and bei lin play with the kids.. mr koh dun look angry, dun llok sad.. i saw his smile.. its lyk, life at least at the sadnesss point i can see him smiling at me.. i see those kids laughing.. will baby grow up lyk them? selling things on the street? so much and so much.. we went to a place whereby, all kids just pester us to buy things.. we pity them.. y? y are they so poor? so after tht went to khorn hse.. look so nice ok.. erm.. no choice lahs.. he is rich.. but he luv doing good deeds lyk us! went back to the hse.. hab some debrift.. they were saying us tht we are playing with the kids.. its wrong to do tht.. i look at mr koh again, he smiled.. lyk trying to tel me its ok.. dun worry.. ;) went to bed again.. another day passed.. i miss those kids again..

DAY7
one week hab passed.. so fast rite? geting used to wad cambodia have.. wake up ealy in the morning 4am.. all of us hab to go for the sunrise.. its so dark and cold in the place.. we cant see each other.. reach there around 5am.. its mr chui bdae today, we sing a bdae song and all of us leave for the sunrise.. walk for ard 15mins came to a piece of clear land.. we waited and chit chat with mr chui, soon, its the sunrise again.. so nice.. its look simply wonderful.. we found on the floor some wrapper which hab AFC on it.. =D so happy.. took photo with it and we are just lyk some mad cows over there.. everyone have fun.. so we went back to the host hse at ard 8+ and hab some breakfast and we go off again.. wewent to some very old temples.. its look lyk awd singapore dun hab.. old but meaningful? lols.. lyk everyone, we took lots of photo again.. the whole morning mainly is looking at ruined temples.. we went back to the angkor wat temple in the morning we go tht one.. to climb it.. its 40m high and 70degree steep.. we of cos hab fun climbing tht.. we climb up and down for dunno how many times.. ard 5 bahs.. i throw my temper again., i did not wan to eat, as i am so darn tired.. and they woke me up from my sleep.. mrs lim gave me a braclet but i muz eat something.. so i eat.. we went to come city tour at night.. erm.. nice i think.. so buy some present for mr chui using the AFC munnie.. we buy chocolate and stuff which mr koh choose for him.. so went back to guest hse.. we surprise him by lowering down his present from the 2nd floor.. and he was still so blur.. LOLS! den mr koh go and cook some mee sua.. everyone do their part.. we made it look lyk a blackout, and went he enter the second floor, he was soshocked that there is a bdae cake and mee sua waiting for him.. its so nice.. so mr koh bath with them.. and so much thingy happened.. yawns.. i'm tired.. time to rtest i think.. nite.. another day passed again..

DAY8
woke up at 5 today.. we are suppose to clean up makara hse and leave.. for the lucky hotel.. ;) so excited rite? hahax.. so those teachers is saying tht there hab to be one grp staying back in makara hse.. sound lyk makara hse is worst? but is not, is tht everyone want the air con.. LOLS! so we went to the landmine.. which needed 3 hr duration.. mainly the AFC is in one bus with mr koh and mr ho.. ARGH! but i think mr koh enjoy lots.. cos shaun is entertaining him.. hahax.. he sat behind so quiet.. and we just hab our party time again.. everyone tok and tok.. so funnie.. and the hrs pass wquite fast.. we tok alot with mr koh.. and soon we reached the landmine field.. we hab the lecture first.. but its so darn boring.. after tht we walked deep into the jungle.. and they show us how to detect mines and we were allowed to exploed one.. we hab to clear the place around 300m away.. mrs lim will be activating the mine.. lols.. so we are so excited.. but sudeenly, without warning tht mrs lim exploded it, it bomb so loudly.. the land shake.. and i been scared too.. mrs lim cried.. she tot of the victims.. mr koh didnt go and look at it, me too.. i was so stunned and froze there.. scary.. and we went back to the bus.. after 20 mins we went for lunch.. its a ard a villager places lahs.. den we went to gave out our stuff and everyone are all so afriad for the ppl might fight.. we walk and tok.. and very soon, we went back to the bus again.. mr koh started to teach me some cantonese.. so, it was lyk erm.. my tongue is short or sumthing, i dun understand.. LOLS! so i speak so weird loh.. den mr koh, write on a piece of paper and gave it to me.. i was to learn tht.. in the bus i keep speaking and disturb ppl with cantonese.. but i dunno wad does it mean.. mr koh used words to scold me.. lols.. ask me say, i am a gal, tis year 15 year old.. you wanna marry me.. to douglas ok. .den ask me tel himself tis.. den he say he dun wan.. wah kao.. and so much stuff and fun.. we tok abt so many things on the bus.. and he say he will not gimme the finace thingy liao.. ahhaax.. nvm lahs.. ;) went back to the hotel.. hab a bath and came out for dinner.. hab it in a restraunt.. nasi brayani.. YUCKS! so we were lyk suan-ing wid.. she so pissed off.. wadever it is.. she cried.. lalalalax.. so happy to see her crying.. complain queen.. you think i gif a damn abt YOU? hahax.. kena couselling again.. mr koh lahs.. den say wad 930.. just nice 930 mr ho say lights off mahs.. den i ask mr koh how, he say i hab to sacrificed my shopping trip if i go for mr koh one.. tht wad mr ho say.. so i say i'll be a gd gal, and listen to mr ho, i shall not attend the couselling.. mr koh say tht i defy his order.. so i just sya, if i defy mr ho one, i will hab no more shopping trips already! hahax.. but i know he is just joking.. they laugh at my cantonese name.. NVM! its fun to learn cantonese.. makara and sis stay til quite late to tok to us.. so we end our day again..

DAY9
last day in cambodia again.. so fast rite? ARGH! i miss it lahs.. so we meet in the morining and went to tis tonle sub lake.. they got this floating school and stuff.. i vomiitted as i hab seasick on the way dere.. feel so drownsy.. fainting* lols.. mr koh saw me and say.. SEE THROWING TEMPER AGAIN! i say i'm not.. i just feel so giddy.. and mrs lim explain to him tht i vommitted for ard 10-15mins already.. so went back tht time i vomitted again.. so i was to go tis handicapped place.. i sleep omn the bus.. but i did go down for awhile.. and i canttake it anymore.. makara say i shall go to the bus.. so i went up to the bus.. and sleep.. til mr koh they all came up.. and speak to me in cantonese.. i just heard but too sick to reply.. so i ask ying after i woke up.. :P we went to tis hotel for lunch.. they serve erm, kinda ok food.. hahax.. so the few of us hab fun again.. i get better wen i sitted down.. and i keep joking and laughing.. so i'm fine after awhile.went to the arts school and look at their crafting.. quite nice loh.. hahx.. went to shopping wit hmakara.. spent finish all my munnie.. hhaxx.. brought alot of things.. so happy.. everyone was lyk mad during the trip.. i enjoy just so much.. so buy and buy.. HEHEHE! went back to the hotel bath and meet for dinner.. we hab buffet at the posh angkor wat palace hotel.. hehe.. so nice lahs.. so we was lyk eating and playing all the time.. and soon we went to watch the live band.. josh sing and i fall asleep.. i am tired i think.. so sleep on rach legs and after very long time, then they wanna go back to the hotel.. lalalalax.. makara and thida sleep in my room.. so happy.. we tok and laugh.. me and makara do something.. hahx.. =DDD NITES! last night in CAMBODIA!

DAY10
its the last day in cambodia. .we will be leaving quite soon.. so we ate our breakfast and tok awhile.. gossiping as usual.. ;) so we took our luaguaes and leave the room.. we tok all along.. mr koh, is lyk toking so much and gif out some gift.. everyone treasure the day in cambodia rite? lols.. so fun.. so we went to the airport.. on the way, we sing holiday.. so veveryone feel so down.. entering the entrance.. we bid goodbye to makara.. i'm the last.. i hug and kiss her.. we cried when we leave.. i miss her so much.. so, me..ying..qis..rai..colleen.. rach cried again.. she waited outside for quite long.. and i saw her again.. i say gdbye to her.. i cried.. all of us encourage each other.. not to cry.. sigh.. it came to a stop for this trip.. mr koh was my shi fu now.. he say he feel glad or sumthing abt tht.. i miss makara.. wen will i meet her again? SIGH! so went to the plane.. and everyone just promised not to waste food.. and lookinf forward to singapore.. shall update more abt AFC and pictures.. its late now.. its lyk finally i finish my 10days blogging.. nit everyone.. ;))
